  Antique bronze French hook ear-wires

Cameos have always fascinated me, and the idea that they were carved from a shell by hand. Genuine hand-carved abalone cameos are not easy to come by these days and are usually expensive. So when I stumbled across these sweet seahorses, although they aren’t abalone, I thought they were a stunning faux. They are a matte resin of peacock blue and milky white and are surprisingly lightweight.
