  Handmade glass cabochon dragonfly in amber*.
  Inside is handmade Scottish wedding vows art and Sassenach thistle art.
  Antique bronze chain with lobster clasp.
• Approx. chain length: 18 inches/ 45.72 cm. Locket- 2 inches when closed.

I think it’s really interesting to think that amber is simply a fossilized tree resin that is appreciated for its color and natural beauty since Neolithic times. Much valued from ancient times to the present, as a gemstone, amber is made into many different things. Of course, this necklace doesn’t have any real amber, just a glass cabochon dragonfly in amber, but I think it’s almost as pretty. The glass magnifies the art underneath enabling all the details to shine through.
