  Handmade dragonfly in amber glass cabochon charms,*
  Swarovski amber-colored bicone dangles,
  Antique bronze French hook ear wires.
• Earring drop approximately 1 inch/ 2.54 cm

Dragonflies are creatures of the water and represent change. Its iridescent wings are incredibly sensitive to the slightest breeze,  so they remind us to pay attention to where the wind blows, to prevent us from running into stormy weather.

The dragonfly in amber is a truly beautiful way of preserving something of great beauty that exists out of its own time.  I remember being fascinated with amber from the time that I was a little girl and received an amber necklace as a gift. I would stare at the amber for hours thinking about how old it was and how much the world had changed since that ancient tree first grew.
